Rent a secure virtual safebox at a remote location to backup or store valuable and private files. Transfer files from your computer to your safebox on the remote server and back easily by using a free file transfer program. View files in your safebox automatically in the programs associated with them. Allow some people to browse through text, image, video and sound files in some folders of your safebox while excluding those people and others from seeing the other files. Your safebox, including any folders you allow other people to view, is password protected. Rent a safebox with a capacity of up to 740 GB (gigabytes) of web space and 7,400 GB of traffic bandwidth a month for $175 a year over two years, plus a one-off setup cost of $180. If you need more space in your safebox, then the extra cost relative to space will be less. The rental includes up to two hours of free technical support throughout a year, any further support if required being charged for at $1.10 a minute or $65 an hour.
Protect files during transfer and storage by encrypting them. When you rent a safebox, you are given an option to download safebox encryption software for free or add SSL web security with a dedicated IP address for $75 a year.
